Dave Jurmu

Chaplain

Dave is a 20 year member of the Elks. Dave joined Jacksonville Lodge #682 and went through the chairs before his company transferred him to the Quad Cities. Starting again, he served as Exalted Ruler of his Lodge in 1999-2000. He currently serves as Treasurer of Rock Island Lodge #980 and is Secretary of the PER Association and a member of the House Committee.

On a District level, he has held the following offices: District VP – 2001-2002; District Insurance Chairman – 2000-2006. District Lapsation and Membership Chairman – 2006 to present. He also currently serves the Great Northwest District as Treasurer.

On a State level, he served as State Membership Chairman from 2004 – 2007 and was a member of the State Centennial Committee. Dave was State Sergeant-At-Arms in 2003-2004 and is currently serving (with his wife Rae Marie) as host of the State Hospitality Room for President Swisher.

Dave was District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler in 2003-2004.
